TFC injury report: Mark-Anthony Kaye questionable vs. Austin FC
Nine Toronto FC players are either injured or suspended for the game in Texas, while Kaye, Matt Hedges and Jordan Perruzza might also miss out.
Add Mark-Anthony Kaye's name to the long list of ailing Toronto FC players.
The club confirmed on Thursday that Kaye is questionable for this weekend's road game against Austin FC with a hip flexor.
The Canadian midfielder had played in 11 of the Reds' first 12 matches of the MLS campaign (logging 978 minutes) before sitting out Wednesday's 0-0 home draw against the New York Red Bulls. Kaye, 28, has two goals this season.
"Kaye is one that we have to get a better read on right now. Why is he feeling fatigued there? Is there anything to it? Is it just fatigue? … [That's] not clear yet," TFC coach Bob Bradley said on Thursday afternoon.
