Toronto FC squanders lead in road loss to Columbus Crew
TFC is still looking for their first win under Bob Bradley after losing in Ohio on Saturday.
- Toronto FC 1 (Jiménez 14’), Columbus Crew 2 (Zelarayán 56’; Etienne 65’)
- Jiménez scores his 2nd goal in 3 MLS appearances for TFC
- Chung, MacNaughton make their 1st league starts for Reds
It was a valiant effort from a short-handed Toronto FC on Saturday afternoon.
But in the end, the Reds came out on the wrong end of a 2-1 road decision to the Columbus Crew, unable to sustain the momentum they gathered from a first half that was easily their best 45 minutes of this young MLS campaign.
Jesús Jiménez scored for Toronto (0-2-1), who is now winless in its last nine league matches dating back to last year.
