Ex-TFC forward Jordan Hamilton eying MLS return, European move
The Canadian international signed with Forge FC in the summer but he has his sights set on getting back to MLS or moving to Europe.
Jordan Hamilton hasn’t given up the dream. He’s still chasing it.
For the last few seasons, the former Toronto FC forward has bounced around the lower leagues, trying to make a go of it with Indy Eleven of the USL Championship and Sligo Rovers in the League of Ireland.
But the 26-year-old native of Scarborough, Ont., has ambitions of getting back to the top level of professional soccer, whether that’s in MLS or in Europe. Following a four-month stint in Ireland where he scored two goals and tallied a pair of assists in 13 appearances for Sligo, he’s hoping that his summer move to Forge FC in the Canadian Premier League can lead to bigger and better things.
