TFC Talk: Shaffelburg loan a good move for him and the club

Prior to last week's trade deadline, Toronto FC sent winger Jacob Shaffelburg on loan to Nashville SC in a deal that caused a bit of stir.
The move caught a lot of people off-guard, with some fans and pundits scratching their heads as to why the Reds would let go one of their brightest, young players.
“This year has been hard [for him] for different reasons. We challenged him early on to see if he could pick up some ideas as a left back. He’s had little bits and pieces of injury issues, [and] loses some confidence. I think he needs to play," coach Bob Bradley said.
"His most comfortable role is as a wide guy on the left. There are others on our team, starting with Lorenzo, who play a lot in that role. If there were no other factors, you’d think that he’s a guy we can continue to work with."
