Toronto FC vs. New England Revolution: What you need to know
TFC will try to win back-to-back MLS games for the first time since last August when they welcome the Revolution to BMO Field on Saturday.
Last Saturday's 1-0 victory over New York City FC was a big result for Toronto FC for a variety of reasons.
Toronto (2-2-6) snapped a five-game winless run and earned its first win since March 18. It also gave Bob Bradley something to build upon ahead of an incredibly busy May schedule, starting with this weekend's match against the New England Revolution, who sit atop the overall MLS standings.
"Every game is vital, but this one against a top-of-the-table side, and we're coming off a win, so we have to trust our game, trust our structure, and trust that we can compete with the top teams in the league. So, we're looking to kick off this month with a bang," fullback Kobe Franklin told TFC Republic.
Here’s what you need to know about Saturday's game between TFC and New England at BMO Field (7:30 p.m. ET/Apple TV).
