While the Philadelphia Union are on an upward trend and look to be a serious MLS Cup contender, Toronto FC is playing out the string in a disastrous season after challenging for the Supporters' Shield in 2020.

The Reds do have a little bit of momentum going stemming from Saturday's 1-1 home draw vs. CF Montreal. But this week's match against a surging Union side is a tall order for TFC, who are winless in their last three outings.
