Toronto FC vs. New York City FC: 3 takeaways
Saturday's win was TFC's most complete performance of the 2022 season thus far, although Bob Bradley still sees room for improvement.
It was a result that was six months in the making for Toronto FC.
Saturday's 2-1 victory over MLS champions New York City FC marked the first time TFC recorded back-to-back wins since Sept. 29-Oct. 2, 2021.
This was Toronto's best and most complete performance of the 2022 season thus far, as the club continues to improve under Bob Bradley and inch closer to achieving his vision of how he wants it to play. While pleased with the result and effort, Bradley believes there are things to work on.
"I still think at times there are moments where the timing of a play between one player and the next, or the confidence to give the ball at the right time, the quality of some of the passes - I still think those are things are going to get better and better," Bradley said after the game.
Here are my three major takeaways from the game.
