Jacob Shaffelburg scored five minutes after coming into the game, converting off a feed from fellow substitute Patrick Mullins in the 74th minute to help Toronto FC earn a 1-1 draw against New York City at Yankee Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
It was the first goal of Shaffelburg’s career - Saturday marked his 17th MLS appearance since debuting for the Reds in 2019.
