TFC comes from behind to earn draw vs. Red Bulls
Toronto FC earned its second straight draw on Wednesday, this time coming from behind to earn a share of the points with the New York Red Bulls.
- Toronto FC 1 (Priso 62’), New York Red Bulls 1 (Klimala 46’)
- TFC extends unbeaten run to 3 games; 5 points under Perez
- Priso scores his 1st career MLS goal in BMO Field debut
TORONTO - It took just over an hour for Toronto FC to warm up, but when it finally did it played some of its best soccer of the season.
Still, it wasn’t quite enough for TFC to claw its way out of the hole it dug for itself, and it had to settle for a 1-1 draw against the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday night at BMO Field.
Midfielder Ralph Priso put in a man-of-the match effort after coming on as a first-half substitute and scored his first career MLS goal. But Priso, an 18-year-old native of Toronto, felt he didn’t step up and show his "real level" until after he scored just after the hour mark in his BMO Field debut.
