Toronto FC vs. New York Red Bulls: 3 takeaways
Saturday's loss at Red Bull Arena proved to be another learning moment for TFC's young players.
Toronto FC's search for that elusive road win continues unabated.
TFC dropped a 2-0 decision away to the New York Red Bulls on Saturday night, extending their club record winless streak on the road to 16 consecutive MLS games. Toronto hasn't won away from BMO Field since a 2-1 victory over the Chicago Fire on July 24, 2021.
Another club record was extended on Saturday with the Reds' 23 consecutive MLS game without a shutout dating back to last September, including all 15 matches this campaign. Overall, Toronto has kept one clean sheet in its previous 45 league matches.
Here are my three major takeaways from Saturday's loss.
