Looking to break out of a rut after a 1-0 loss to Orlando City, Toronto FC faces another tough road test when it visits the Columbus Crew on Saturday (3:00 p.m. ET).
TFC's five points from six games represents their third-worst start to an MLS season in club history (zero points in 2012, four points in 2018), and they have earned just one point from their last six road games going back to last October. What's more, Columbus has won 15 of its previous 17 regular-season and playoff matches at home (with just one loss) dating back to late 2019, and has allowed a mere nine goals in those games.
On the positive side, Toronto has enjoyed a fair amount of recent success against the Crew (more on that later).
Here’s what you need to know about Saturday’s game between TFC and the Crew at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
