TFC blanked by Orlando City in 3rd loss of MLS season
Tesho Akindele scored the lone goal to lead Orlando City to a 1-0 win over TFC on Saturday, as the Reds suffered their second shutout loss of the MLS campaign.

Toronto FC huffed and puffed, but it couldn’t find a way to knock down the “Purple Wall,” otherwise known as Orlando City.
Calgary-born Tesho Akindele scored the lone goal to lead Orlando to a 1-0 win over TFC at Exploria Stadium on Saturday night, as the Reds suffered their second shutout defeat of the MLS campaign.
With the loss, TFC is now 1-3-2 in MLS and remains in 12th place in the Eastern Conference standings. Second-place Orlando is 3-0-3, and is one of only three teams that remains unbeaten in the league.
