Shoddy defending and a series of errors once again led to the downfall of Toronto FC on Saturday night.
After overcoming a disastrous start and valiantly fighting their way back into the game, TFC was let down by a terrible giveaway in the dying minutes en route to a 3-2 loss to Orlando City.
A terrible cross-field ball played out from the back by Auro Jr. resulted in Junior Urso’s winning goal against a Toronto side (1-5-2) that is now winless in four matches and is off to its worst start to an MLS season since 2018. Ayo Akinola and Jonathan Osorio scored for TFC, while Alejandro Pozuelo put in a man-of-the-match performance in setting up both goals.
